Takht Sri Damdama Sahib
Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is one of the five sacred Takhts (seats of authority) of Sikhism, located in Talwandi Sabo near Bathinda in Punjab. Revered as a spiritual and historical center, it holds immense importance for Sikhs across the world. This holy site is deeply associated with Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who stayed here in 1705 after the battles of Anandpur Sahib. During his stay, Guru Gobind Singh prepared the final and complete version of the Guru Granth Sahib, with the help of devoted scholars. Because of this, Damdama Sahib is often called the “Guru Ki Kashi”, meaning the center of learning.
