Judge

Job Overview :
A Judge is a legal professional responsible for presiding over court proceedings, interpreting laws, and delivering fair and impartial judgments. Judges ensure justice is served by evaluating evidence, listening to arguments, and applying legal principles to resolve disputes in civil, criminal, or constitutional matters.

Key Responsibilities :
* Preside over court hearings, trials, and legal proceedings
* Interpret and apply laws, statutes, and legal precedents
* Evaluate evidence, witness testimonies, and legal arguments
* Deliver judgments, rulings, and sentences based on law
* Maintain order and decorum in the courtroom
* Ensure fair trials and protect legal rights of all parties
* Write detailed legal opinions and case decisions
* Guide juries (in jury trials) on legal matters

Required Qualifications :
* Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
* Advanced degree (LLM) preferred in some cases
* Successful completion of judicial service exams or equivalent
* Significant experience as an advocate or legal practitioner
* Strong knowledge of constitutional, criminal, and civil law
